The diagram represents how the data is taken directly from dealing rooms. Each user is given a user name and password and contributes via a secure internet connection to the data collection system – there is no requirement to have either a Bloomberg or Reuters screen to input. The contributions are processed according to the rules that have been developed and agreed by the NZFMA Board.
The NZ output data is then easily distributed to both Reuters and Bloomberg on the current feed they already receive with Australian data. The NZFMA have been working with both vendors to ensure that the new pages will be a replica of the existing pages, while being updated using the NZdata system. Existing page codes on both Reuters and Bloomberg will remain the same.
