Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Recognition of the skills and knowledge gained through previous studies and work and life experience may lead to advanced standing into NZFMA Services programs.

Individuals who are experienced market participants may attain, or partially attain, NZFMA Accreditation through recognition of their prior learning.  This generally involves submitting a portfolio of evidence demonstrating competency against the relevant training standards.

Exemptions

Individuals completing the NZFMA Financial Services Accreditation Program in order to become an NZFMA Accredited Individual cannot be exempt, or request an RPL, for the Financial Services Core Module. This module covers important information on market regulations and trading conventions.
