About NZFMA Committees

Committees are the forums that allow the NZFMA to work with its members to manage the diverse range of issues that involve the wholesale financial markets. They provide stakeholders with active input into the operations of the wholesale markets. All our member organisations are eligible to join an NZFMA committee via an annual election process.

The NZFMA has three active Committees

  • Rates Committee - dealing with all issues relevant to debt and debt related products
  • FX Committee - dealing with all issues relevant to Foreign exchange and related products
  • Accreditation Committee  - setting minimum competency standards for NZ front office staff and maintaining and developing the current Accreditation program
  • Financial Intermediaries Committee - promoting high professional standards and education for those working in the financial intermediary sector

All Committees report regularly to the NZFMA Board on their activities.

NZFMA Committees are formally structured and participation is open to NZFMA Financial Market members. If you would like to know more about the NZFMA Committees a full list of Committee members can be found here
